Assessment procedures

• Bridging and Comprehensive Theory exams are set by the Pilates Foundation and marked by two Pilates Foundation examiners. Exams are scheduled for June and November every year.
• The Matwork Theory exam is set by the individual Teacher Training Provider and is officially approved by the Pilates Foundation, it is also marked by two Pilates Foundation examiners. Dates of these exams are arranged by the Teacher Training Provider.
• All Practical Assessments are marked by a Pilates Foundation external examiner and a Pilates Foundation internal examiner (usually the Teacher Training Provider).
• All written course work is marked by two Pilates Foundation examiners. (The first marker is usually the examiner for the Practical Assessment too.)
